I Run Because...
“I love to compete,
my family runs,
I never pass on a personal challenge,
it’s truly a unique and fun experience,
because my knee’s say no, but my heart says yes
passion and love
my co-workers dared me
I choose to
50 isn’t even close to old
a mom of three needs freedom too
hills and heat don’t scare me
freedom of the mind, can be found from fatigue in the physical
triumph translates to 26.2 miles
I am social
Elbow room has a different meaning here
I can, so I will
My 18 year old daughter needs a training partner
Women are strong and I am determined
Not all great races are found in big cities
Courage means finishing at all costs
my father can’t anymore
every mile I run, my boss donates to charity
I like to meet knew people
Sweat is the tears of my soul
Flat is for pansies
I can’t afford a nice bike
I love to experience new things
I am a new mom
Hope can be found in many places
I resolve to better myself
I can do it just for me
Success comes in many forms
It is my "Everest"
On my list of 100 things to do before I die
Last time was for survival, this time it’s against the clock
Beer tastes better after 26 miles
Excellence is never an accident.
Pain is fleeting, the body temporary, conquest immortal
Every Friday is donut day
My bowling league just isn’t cutting it anymore
It’s a way of life
My ex never let me
I need Discipline.
To prove my will to succeed
Good excuse to buy new shoes
Success comes before work, only in the dictionary
A selfish sense of accomplishment
A marathon, is nothing compared to childbirth
I love to run
Well done, is better than well said
I am in the best shape of my life
I am powerful
I don’t want my thoughts to catch up with me
I wanted to be more
I can’t golf
I will always have this accomplishment
I am stronger than my illness
Happiness is an inside job
To teach my kids the meaning of dedication and diligence
I am a new person
I haven’t ever lost a bet
There is nothing I can’t do
To travel, is sometimes better than arriving
I quit smoking
I thrive on the sound of a cheering crowd
I have my 20 year reunion coming up
I need to escape the routine
When I laugh, “I shake like a bowl full of jelly”
4 hours or bust!
I have never kept a New Years resolution
I thrive on competition
I hold myself to a higher standard
I survived cancer
Boston or Bust
It is truly fun
I Run because; I can, I will, I am … I run for all these reasons and more...
